I don't know.... I kinda side with the town council on this one. The girl was "pimping her wares" on a busy intersection in town and the safety concerns of the many might prevail over her capitalistic spirt.

One could argue that a town of 240-something couldn't have an intersection busy enough to justify or substantiate the "traffic concern" argument, but that's another issue. Bottom line, it wasn't her property and thus, falls under the traditional codes and applicable town ordinances. A cute little smile and pigtails doesn't give an exemption to established rules.

The problem with these lemonade stands is quality... I'm tired of these little jokers pawning off powdered county time as lemonade. I want fresh squeezed! Maybe even a lemon wedge for garnish, it's not asking too much?

I think you're onto something. These kids are crooks. Not only do they use chemically tainted lemonade powders, they don't pay income tax, may not wash their hands, and gouge the consumer with prices that are up to $1 for 6 oz. of the stuff. I think they should prosecuted as adults.
