well.....medicare works like that, and (although its a cartoon) it doesn a good job of showing where your money goes before it gets to a hospital or doctor or back to you.

The limiting care argument is a bit of a misnomer. If there's an equally effective but less expensive treatment then that's not limiting care.

And you'll see an overall reduction in health care spending and the cost to you and me. That's the point. It's more of a shift in health care spending as opposed to an increase, though of course it's an increase in government spending. But again, that's to get the overall cost down.

No, the new TRILLIONS are for the currently uninsured, none of that is for the currently insured. They're paid for either 1) as they are now or 2) by more government money if they go with the public option.
