I can see why the pubbies would hate Billy and pant suite. Billy was the only dem. in recent memory tough enough and willing to eat the pubbies at their own game. He use to adopt their ideas and make them his own undercutting the rep. party. He was no Lefty like al ot of people here portrait him to be, he was a centrist. I agree with a lot of that, there were times when I liked Billy I could see a lot of the old timers in him, I thought he was one of the slickest politicians this country has ever had but he blew it with Monica, when Hillary finally found out about Monica instead of saddness or humiliation all she said was "You Stupid Bastard" Hillary knew he blew it all over a blow job.

This Obama kid is doing a pretty good job at adopting The Bush Ideas, maybe he has been studying Clinton.........

IMO the Lt. wing are a bunch of mealle mouth wimps. They've had the majority in congress for a while now but won't use it because they want to be "inclusive" they don't want to hurt anybodys feelings. The RT. wing conservatives are much tougher and their pols like Baoner, Lot, Gingriich play hard ball, they take no prisinors, they don't need Rush Limbaugh, but they'll take him anyways. They usually know what they want and take it. These people are the ones hopeing Obama will fail, they want the statuos quo of the last 30 years to remain, the course that has brought this country and the world to the brink o bankruptcy. If the RT. had a majority in the house and senate you better believe they would use it. Going back to Al Gore the guys is out of politics,but the RT. wing will attack him anyways because they view him as representing something they don't like, the idea of global warming. What i am saying by connecting Obamas victory to Al Gores bashing is that because they lost to someone i'm sure they never thought they'ed lose to (a well spoken young black man) their working extra hard to make up for it. You may not be racist, i don't know but my perception is that there is an undercurrent that runs through the conservative movement that controls the RT. wing of the republican party that is exclusive. Just look at whos runs the party, and how they don't like to be inclusive, if they did there would be much more diversafication within the party.

Clearly there are racists in the republican party but to stereotype the party as racist is wrong. A racist is one of the most vile sort of person one can be and to proclaim an entire legitamate political party as such is almost as bad. Depite the ramblings of civil rights leaders that insist that anyone not in lock step with affirmative action is a racist is the same as saying since the demoratic party is pro-choice then they are the party of baby murder advocates. Both statements are hateful and hurtful, serve to divide us and creates a lot of anger at each other. We should stop doing to each other here.
