The US economy is shifting away from male-dominated "macho" jobs. Construction and manufacturing is down the tubes and the service industries are the only ones that will survive in the near term at least. Women will be the majority of the workforce in the new economy because they are better at most sectors of the service economy. Since we don't build or make anything anymore, men will have to adapt to the new reality and learn how to nurse, teach and raise the kids. We are ill-suited for it genetically and culturally but, because we're men, we will put more effort and determination into it and rise to the challenge!
