It is pretty amazing how far people will go with these absurd emails that the rightie tightie folks first of all believe and then spread around.. apparently this one is making the rounds, just more lemming behavior.. because some strawman said so... this is the ultimate preemptive strike as it was filed 4 years ago.. either that or it is part of the grand conspiracy.. Change we Can Believe In..
the claim that the Free Flow of Information Act of 2009 passed by the House in March is actually a "stealth" law aimed at protecting President Obama from having to produce his "actual" birth certificate. That's why some conservative bloggers derisively call it the "Obama Birth Certificate Protection Act."
But the key word in there is "covered person." And this is how it's defined later in the bill: "The term 'covered person' means a person who regularly gathers, prepares, collects, photographs, records, writes, edits, reports, or publishes news or information that concerns local, national, or international events or other matters of public interest for dissemination to the public for a substantial portion of the person's livelihood or for substantial financial gain and includes a supervisor, employer, parent, subsidiary, or affiliate of such covered person.
In other words, "a covered person is simply a journalist," said Sophia Cope, legislative counsel for the Newspaper Association of America, which has lobbied hard for the bill. "The White House would not fall under that."

The good news is that the right is busy spinning it's wheels, doing nothing to expand its appeal by reaching out to a broader audience. That's why even though Obama's approval rating is dropping below 60%, Republican approval ratings remain at record lows. It seems that as long as Obama does not release his long form birth certificate, enough righties will remain obsessed with this issue that they will not be able to move on.

Yesterday on the Limbaugh site there was an article captioned, "Obama already getting ready for a third term"... only an absolute idiot could not see through that.. unfortunately there are a whole bunch of people who believe all this crap.
