I would argue that if Conservative Christian Republicans are involved in lurid scandles more often could it be because of surpressed or repressed feelings. Most likely they have had to represse their desires to fit in, to tow the line of Chistian values all the while wanting to explore what their told is bad, and off limites. It seems most of these scandles happen to men in their mid to late Forties. Is it a case of a mid life crisis triggering those repressed feelings. I.E. a last chance to do what i've always thought about.... Just a thought.
