Default Toilet Paper Tax

the perfect tax ... truly based on consumption. anyone who has dieted knows the less you eat ... the less you flush. Taxes on booze, butts, gasoline ... why not butt wipe ... I am serious ... why not? Americans are notorious for pampered butt wipe. it clogs the sewer system and landfills. We spend more on returning it to nature than we do making it. We have and use the softest in all the world and we spend on it ... it's important. Obama ... if you read the forum ... 25-cent surcharge on each roll, debt will be reduced in a jiffy. I guarantee consumption will not suffer ... not even by 1 roll.

What about a mega roll, do they hit you with a little extra. Well now would be a good time to buystock in SCOTT paper products. 1000 sheets a roll, that's "John Wayne" toilet paper, rough and tough, and don't take ***** off anybody!!!!

Good point.

Do we get taxed double for two-ply instead of one-ply?

Would I pay a higher tax for the buff and shine?

Yeah, just what we need . . . this isn't the place to go cheap especially if you want public transportation to increase.

Perhaps, we can use our hands more.

Your suggestion might be in Obama 'cap and trade' bill. What a way to save the planet!
