Pentagon Test-Fires Intercontinental Ballistic Missile From California | AHN

Quote:
Vandenberg, CA (AHN) - The U.S. Air Force successfully launched a Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Minuteman III early Monday from a California base into the Pacific Ocean.
The missile was fired at 3:01 am from Vandenberg Air Base to test its reliability and accuracy. It was configured with a National Nuclear Security Administration test assembly.
The Minuteman III carried three unarmed re-entry vehicles to targets 4,190 miles away, near the Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands, in speeds of more than 24,000 miles per hour.
Ahhh the ol' my missle is bigger than your missle game.
So what did it take like 10 minutes to get there ... that's quick.

How about a case of "I'll show you mine if you show me yours"

They also have to update their missile technology for NASA as well as for military applications...space shuttles are being retired soon, they are going back to missiles shooting astronauts into space.

Nah, the US would rather see him hung...preferably by his own people in a democracy revolution

It's the only language some people -- especially people like Kim Jongil and the North Korean regime -- seem to understand. They see US attempts at "dialogue and diplomacy" as no-win situations for themselves, so they use military/nuclear threats to force their way. OK, if they want to play "tough guy", we can play that way, too.

Good show, Pentagon. You're doing your job.
