Not only do they want to prevent the truth about the total corruption of the ACORN scam -- vote Democrat or don't bother showing up (but paid for by ALL tax-payers, independents and Repubs, have NO CHOICE about it). But now they want to steal even more and more. Is there no end to the sickness that has enveloped America??? Conyers pleads guilty to conspiracy

She faces up to 5 years in prison

Detroit City Council President Pro Tem Monica Conyers pleaded guilty this morning to conspiring to commit bribery and is free on personal bond.

U.S. District Judge Avern Cohn said, "The defendant now stands convicted."

The one count of conspiring to commit bribery is punishable by up to five years in prison.

No sentencing date has been set.

If would have been a lot easier for her to get away with bribes if she worked in the private sector, which is not so heavily scrutinized and has very little transparency. One of the strengths of government is that it's fairly easy to catch dishonest people. That's why gov is more honest than private enterprise.
