I didn't see the press conference but the bible is not about being perfect, it's about admitting your mistakes and asking forgiveness.

Oh, I thought it was about guiding you in living a good and decent life.
A book of lesson filled stories to help you make the right decisions in life.
And provide some sort of spiritual fulfillment.

But, I'm not into the bible. So I guess I don't really know.
No offense intended.

And when you make a mistake you ask forgiveness, both from your fellow man and from God. You can live a good life without being perfect. In fact it's a premise of Christianity that man is inherently flawed and imperfect.

O.K., well, I'm not sure what he was saying.
It sounded like he compared himself to King David, and referenced the book of psalms.

But it's only been barely half a week since his trangressions. That's way too soon to happen.

Perhaps politicians should just lead by example and (Please be quiet - edited). It's impossible to lead a perfect life so standing for anything will sooner or later bite them is the *****. It seems that's how the arguments go here most of the time.
Lib:
"See, he's hypocrite! he talked about morals and now he did something immoral!"
Conservative:
yeah but you have as many guys that did immoral things too"
Lib:
"So? They didn't say they were moral so it's ok."
