Default obamacare infomercial

I didn't watch it but it looks like there was some fairness :

President Obama Questioned about Health Care in ABC News Forum with Charles Gibson and Diane Sawyer in special edition of Prime Time Prescription for America Questions for the President - ABC News

"Devinsky asked the president pointedly if he would be willing to promise that he wouldn't seek such extraordinary help for his wife or daughters if they became sick and the public plan he's proposing limited the tests or treatment they can get.

The president refused to make such a pledge, though he allowed that if "it's my family member, if it's my wife, if it's my children, if it's my grandmother, I always want them to get the very best care."

Hey obama - go ***** yourself.

I'm so sick of the whole "rock star" schtick already.

Bring back Ike. Or even Reagan.

And the kicker is that members of Congress are exempt from the Kennedy version of the bill:

Dissecting the Kennedy Health Bill

Quote:
Last September Sen. Barack Obama promised that under his health-care proposal "you'll be able to get the same kind of coverage that members of Congress give themselves."
Quote:
This legislation -- the Affordable Health Choices Act that's being drafted by Sen. Edward Kennedy's staff and the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee -- will push Americans into stingy insurance plans with tight, HMO-style controls. It specifically exempts members of Congress (along with federal employees; the exemptions are in section 3116).
We're being sold a pile of ***** for a healthcare bill. Change you can believe in.

I couldn't see any telepromters, nor did he show his birth certificate before, during or after the meeting.

Didn't see it. Then again, neither did anyone ELSE

Look like a ratings bust. DFL in the nightly ratings war.

Quote:
The "Got Talent" lead-in helped NBC's new drama "The Philanthropist," 4.8/8, get off to a decent start at 10, winning the hour in viewers and adults 18-49 despite a slightly higher household number for "CSI: NY," 4.9/8, on CBS. An ABC News special with President Obama drew a 3.1/6.
Perhaps, the bloom is coming of the rose a bit.

He may have given a better answer to the question I mentioned if he had his teleprompter with him.

yes, but where is his birth certificate?

Watching it last night, I thought he gave measured answers. At times I said to myself "Well thats a nice way to not answer the question..." etc.

The one thing I took away from this, and all those Obama haters should as well is this:

Healthcare reform is coming. Its time to become part of the dialog. I've already contacted my Senators and reps to tell them what I think and would encourage all those on this board to do the same. A hand written letter is best, but you can also call or e-mail. Its time to voice your opinion.

yes and no.......as long as there is no bill sitting there and all they are doing is talking about it, this thing is a million miles off in the distance
