North Korea issues threat to the United States

If Obama is going to talk tough here, he needs to follow all the way through with it if necessary. North Korea is clearly not afraid of his rhetoric. While appeasement seems to be working with Iran (in some capacity), it seems doomed to fail with North Korea.
Oh and North Korea currently has missiles that can hit targets in Alaska and Hawaii. How much longer do you think it will take until they develop a missile that can hit in major civilian populations? Like, say, California? If the U.S. Navy boards that North Korean ship, get ready for war.
