Default Iranian Tweets

Actual news, normal font - wife is on twitter right now... several of them are saying "embassies are safe havens/do not go to the hospitals." Many are stressing "do not go to the hospitals."

They are saying 1M people in the streets.

That's "they are saying 1 million people in the streets," not "they are saying Instant Message people in the streets."

It's demography. The country is amazingly filled by young people; people under thirty account for way over half the population. The conservatives weren't going to keep them down. This was expected for a long time, regardless of Obama.

Jeez. Grasping at straws, methinks.

This is very exciting. The young and intellectuals are battling the conservative theocracy. I don't think they'll win, and I'm afraid things will end badly-- and I can't even find a foundation that supports the liberals (probably because Homeland Security closed down so many Islamic foundations), but they do have some brave leaders who are willing to be made into martyrs if that's what the conservatives choose to do.

It'd be nice if the President would get off his arse and help direct the energy. Charles Krauthammer takes him to task. "And where is our president? Afraid of 'meddling.'"

Hey State? Ya may have noticed the actual thread's not about coke or pepsi, as RW so aptly referred to the right/left divide.

Obviously, Krauthammer is a biased neo-con; we've all known that forever. Kissinger is saying Obama handled it exactly right. La la la.

This thread, however, is about an exciting revolution. And a little frightening. THIS thread isn't an argument about Obama, though he handled this perfectly.

So go away and stop trying to hijack.

If this is true i don't think there is any going back. The next thing should be massive strikes that shut down the country.

Why does it seem tanks always drawn to places with names like that?

Jeeziz H...Whoda thought Iran would be brought into the 21st cent by it's own people? WOW! And I though we had to do something using the Israelis. Good thing we held them off long enough for this to happen. It'll work out but there will be people hurt. Fortunately, it won't be with our guns and bombs. This would have prolly happened in Iraq by now and we could have saved a ton of blood and treasure.
