Aren't you a policy wonk like me?
Educational policy is an awfully broad area. If I could control it, I would offer ethics and civics to teach people basic right and wrong according to our Constitution and the social graces. It would help us greatly if we had an American set of basic manners. I would create incentives for adults to take free online or on tv educational courses. I think we need to educate adults, not just kids. I think education should be seen as a lifelong experience. In general, though, I think education is very underfunded. There would be more great teachers if it attracted people who wanted to earn more money. (By the way, I think that's something Obama is trying to change by making MBA's less attractive.)

Computers in secondary schools don't do much, Patters.
Do you have access to that report? Or are you simply waiving it around on face value. Just because it's abstract claims something, doesn't mean its methodology or conclusions are correct. If you don't have access to it, then why did you even post it? Did you think that posting it was research on your part?
