The Bush administration is the one that introduced the blame game, blaming Clinton for things that happened in Bush's administration. I think the Obama administration has decided it's good politics, even though it has a downside. But, the fact that it may further alienate the likes of you is not important to the Obama administration, since it's unlikely that you would ever support him.

As far as Fox goes, I think other networks are moving more into the Obama camp, but they are no more schills than is Fox. All corporations serve their shareholders, and if Fox has already cornered the market on right-wing conservatives, it makes sense for other media to go after a different demographic. That's how capitalism works. That said, I do think the government should invest in promoting alternative media, including conservative, because from my point of view, all the tv stations basically represent a corporate point of view, whether conservative or liberal. That's part of the reason they sow conflict.

Maybe some here rely on Fox too much, but I would gather that many in here would acknowledge that one's best bet is to check as many news sites as possible to get the different angles. Today's world is so politicized that many news sources are compromised by their agendas, whether it's right or left. That's why it is our responsibility to try and figure out as much as we can from different places to balance things out.

The reason that I get irritated when people attack Fox news isn't that I love them and think they're great. It's because they criticize Fox for being biased, which is something that clearly both MSNBC and CNN are as well.

I watch CNN, MSNBC, FOX.

With all the crap Obama has to think about what the hell is he wasting time blubbering about Fox News for, NBC crucified Bush for 8 years, Bush just ignored them.

Could the "FOX Ratings" be getting under The Royal Skin,"wahhhhha, Michelle those bastards are talking dirty about me again, don't they know who I am, boo hoo, sob, slurp, I want my mommy"

My name is King Obama
And on my throne I sit
Help me Uncle Jeremiah
Fox News thinks I'm *****

Patters are you living on another planet??? Or just P-town?

Obama built his ENTIRE CAMPAIGN on "these past eight failed years" of the Bush administration. He never opened a single public speech during his two year campaign without blaming Bush for everything from global warming -- man, I wish we had some of that right now!! It's been COLD this spring!! -- to the (Barney Frank and Company) economy to Hurricane Katrina ... you name it, it was "all Bush's fault".

It's been the Democrat M.O. from day one.

He still does it, every speech he makes has these two words in it "previous administration"

Also, he's an anti war president, why are the wars still going on--------------

Duh! Of course you attack the other party in a political campaign. That goes without saying. And, as I said, Bush and Obama, both found attacking the other guy after their election was useful as well. Bush blamed Clinton for North Korea, 9/11, etc. Obama is blaming Bush for the financial crisis. Whether you agree or not, it's simply good politics. I think you misunderstood my previous post.

I'm not married to any political party. I go with the best of the lot, whichever side they may be. I voted for Nixon in 68, my first time voting, then wrote in Ralph Nader in 72.

But over the years, as I have taken closer inspection of the way the two majors operate, the Dems have consistently been more devious, more negative, more attacking of Repubs than the other way around. The average Repub will say: "I want to give YOU more freedom to control your own life", whereas the average Dem will say: "I will 'help you' do what you can do for yourself (by making others pay for it)."

Dude, GET OVER IT, Bush is gone. I don't care if "he started it" - although his blaming of Clinton is minuscule compared to the obamans blaming Bush - the fact is, the entire obama strategy is to take blame for absolutely nothing.

Who started it ? Who cares.
