It was a stretch to say letterman was refering to Willow however it was wrong of Letterman to not apologize right away. It shows the sexism in him ... even he must see that by now. His wife must have been all over him for this one ... I bet it was she who mad him apologize.

Jokes are supposed to be funny ... however a bit of fact checking in the future would be nice ... keep minors out of the R and X rated jokes.

Fact checking in the future? The guy's been on TV for 30 years. Was it a rookie mistake? And he said he did check before he did the joke then later said he didn't know her daughter was with her. Which was it Dave? Just go back to you limo Dave. Your grandson...err I mean son is waiting for you.

Only Piper and Willow were at that particular hockey game, where's the outrage?

Conan's still gets a honey-moon 'cause he's newb. Letterboy has been around since our solar system was formed.

He said it on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, not during his new gig. Plus, Conan has been a late night talk show host for 16 years. Hardly a "newb".

I thought Conan said it on his new Tonight Show gig.

Hey, Dave: Go back to the woods of Indiana!!! And take Shades Shafer with you!! Pea-brains!! Maybe you can find another Brokeback there. (sniff, sniff)

But if a joke about having sex with an underage girl is what's so wrong here, if he's such a jerk because of a "rape joke" (even though it wasn't at all), then shouldn't Conan O'Brien's joke inspire the same outrage, regardless of whether or not you like him as a talk show host? To say that Letterman's joke is only over the line because it's Letterman saying it is basically saying that you weren't offended by the actual joke at all and you just want a reason to rag on Letterman.
