But I digress. I thought it was dumb that people were calling for Letterman to apologize (except Palin, I can see that since it was her daughter), and even dumber that people wanted him fired. But if this same joke was done about the Obama daughters, boy would there be a media crapstorm. That's the only gripe I had with the situation.

It's much ado about nothing. A tempest in a teapot, as wistah said best. Hopefully it's done.

There you go. The Main Stream Media's creations, Olberman and Letterman. Must live next door to each other. Which is in posh Southern Connecticut, you know. Home's 'ill set you back starting in the $3 million range. Well, Keith aint' there, but Dave is.

Not so. I watch MSNBC every morning for a half hour or so before work and parts of the Letterman's Palin routine(s), feigned apologies and finally his somewhat sincere apology is always covered. Then they go about the business of tearing Palin down while giving Letterman the benefit of the doubt. They even give long segments to guests like the liberal Ariana Huffington for example to help them belittle and ridicule Sarah. There is hardly a person from the left more politically motivated than she so I don't see how you can blame this non-stop Sarah in the news attention solely on the right. There is one voice though that is squarely in Palin's corner and that comes from Mika Brzezinski (liberal), who is genuinely outraged at what Letterman said and doesn't blame Palin for her outrage.

It's a front page on msn.com, yahoo.com, cnn.com etc. so it seems the main stream left contributing at least as much as the right is that the right

Aha!! I knew it!! The truth drips out, drop by drop.

.... drip...... drip....... drip

(Psssst: did you hear?? The media is dominated by left-wing atheists who won't let a decent conservative get face time without slamming said conservative with everything in the arsenal. Pass it on.

OK, I will. Peace, out.)

Shows what a gullible old fool you are, one piece of evidence makes everything different..

The reality is that most people do not listen or really give a damn.. but in the perception of the right everything small becomes big..

All the while the death of Tiller has been justified by Rush, O'Reilly and the rest of this crew with no reproach..

Protests today in NYC they want Letterman Fired.

If Jeb Bush said that any Female Democrat in America looked like a Slutty Flight Attendent he would have been thrown out of the country, Letterman should have the same punishment Don Imus had.

Dave Letterman is stinking piece of *****, I'd like to see what kind of a slut his wife looks like, does the old bastard have any daughters of his own.

TAKE HIS VIAGRA AWAY FROM HIM

I don't think he believes in marriage, unless maybe he caved in recently. He had a woman stalker, though. She used to walk into his home in Connecticut when he was away and leave love letters. She got sent to a mental hospital, obviously.

And what's the left's fascination with Palin? The race is over. Long over. And the cool dude won. It's as bad as Leno still making McCaine is so old jokes. Luckily he's gone for now.

It's been obvious for decades but now it all comes out now clear as rain: Letterman is a total jerk. A butt-head if there ever was one.
And he can't even apologize right. I guess he has to appease his base. He's competing with Stuart for the young "Aren't I wonderful I only hate Republicans and Christians" crowd. He even got caught up in his lies but, the Pravada... I mean the MSM won't pick up on it. He said at one point I checked before we did the joke to make sure she was 18 and then later says he thought only the governor and Giuliani were there. He's such a douche. I can't believe I use to watch his show. Around the same time he changed form wearing athletic shoes to loafers is around the time he stopped being funny or even amusing.

Palin continually puts herself out there on the national stage.. what Letterman did was wrong and her daughter should have never been put into the equation... her eternal quest for more face time allows for her to always be in the spotlight.. she has turned into a media whore.. the right is as infatuated as is the left, but everytime the right frames her the byline is look at what the bad press is doing to poor Sarah.. Sarah does it to herself, she is getting ready to run again, it is a long campaign cycle.

BTW Palin accepted his apology.. but this will get played out ad infinitum...
