Seems as though people are grabbing on to false hope by believing that Ricci can make a difference, pretty confident that she will be questioned on the merits of the case not the personalities of the people involved ... Justice is supposed to be blind.. or so they say.

In The Absence Of Law And Order Society Will Surely Destroy Itself
Most Americans disagree with Sonia Sotomayor's decision in the New Haven, Conn., firefighters case, but most also say her ruling doesn't make them more or less likely to support her nomination to the Supreme Court, a new poll finds.
The Quinnipiac University poll, released this morning, shows that 59 percent of respondents said Sotomayor's vote in Ricci v. DeStefano doesn't make a difference to them, while 28 percent say it makes them less likely to support her nomination and 7 percent say it makes them more likely. Republicans don't show overwhelming opposition based on this one case: 48 percent said it would make them less likely to support her, while 43 percent said it wouldn't make a difference.

That and the other overturned cases have merit...especially when one of the most important cases that can and will affect civil service testing across the country.
But why let a major overturned case like that get in the way all the "personal qualifications" that surround her

Save us the whining, you are mad that people found something that will affect them directly that she is linked to and that she is the face of.

Do you understand completely the merits of the case, and are aware of course there was a triumvirate who decided this..
That and the other overturned cases have merit...especially when one of the most important cases that can and will affect civil service testing across the country.
What other cases, if I remember correctly she was overturned on a total of 4 cases.. none of which have been mentioned..
