Well, no denying we're still working our way out of the severe recession, but as the article said, "the rate of decline has slowed since the fourth quarter of aught-eight." It remains to be seen how quickly Obama's policies will get out us out of this mess.

Yeah, if Obama's policies fail, I'll acknowledge it, though I doubt if the Republican will convince me they have better ideas. I think Obama's policies are already showing signs of success, but I don't think 5 months is enough time to turn around a recession of this magnitude.
