Default Democrats seek financial rescue of minority-owned broadcasters

TheHill.com - Democrats seek financial rescue of minority-owned broadcasters

Quote:
High-ranking House Democrats are urging the Treasury Department to prop up minority-owned broadcasters suffering from a lack of capital and lost advertising revenue amid the economic slump.

“While many jobs are at stake, a more important principle — the government’s fundamental interest in promoting a diversity of voices, including service to underserved communities — is severely threatened,” the members write in a draft of a letter that was scheduled to be sent Tuesday
How many more 'phony' job claims from media do I have to listen? We will only hear 'DEMOCRAT' media in US very soon.

These broadcasters are obviously too small to let them fail.

Shrinking industries should be allowed to shrink ... I wonder what the old steel mill people think of all of this. How many lost their jobs when stell became cheaper overseas. The same people that wanted a global economy now want handouts ... clowns.
