In no particular order...

1. American Idol (I know this is hip to hate, but seriously, way to ruin music)
2. Spoilers on junk cars; you are not Paul Walker or Vin Diesel
3. Dressing like you're 15 when you're 40; guess what, your youth is gone. Deal.
4. Keith Olbermann
5. Booing at mma events
6. The unwillingness/inability to step outside one's own experience
7. Canadiens fans coming to the Garden.
8. Twitter
9. Anything celebrity gossip related
10. Whining

1. Child Abuse - A first offense is punishable by excruciating death. No exceptions.

2. Welfare, SS, Food Stamps, for illegal drug abusers - Required drug testing once every two weeks for all who receive public assistance. You fail, you're cut off and admitted into a rehab center which will receive your "funds" to pay for your care while you get clean.

3. Cigarettes - Anyone caught selling them is imprisoned for 6 months. No exceptions.

4. Fast Food - This country is too damn fat and lazy. Force them to sell more health conscious choices and turn away obese customers all together.

5. Laziness - Every able bodied person is required to exercise for 1 hour a day, six days a week. You fat bastards are pathetic. Do a damn push-up or something!!

6. Reality TV. ALL OF IT.

7. Wearing sunglasses at night. Come-on...

8. Banana Hammocks in public.

9. ESPN

10. Bandwagon fans

Banning No. 6 here would be an enormous problem for the vast majority of conservatives. As would No. 10, of late.

I don't know about the vast majority, but certainly some. I've seen lots of people unwilling or unable to stand outside their own experience... it's a real problem. There's degrees of being able to do it, but those people that have little to no ability to do it, they make life hard on themselves and those around them.

As for the whining, its so ubiquitous that I think the world would seem silent if I could make it go away.

It's absolutely from both ends of the political spectrum. But, as your post shows they only see it in the other.
