This is kind of like Gay Blue Jean Day back when I was in college, where everybody who was gay was supposed to wear jeans. Of course, they never tell you about it until it's happening.

That's funny...we never had that at UMass...but we certainly had a strong gay movement back in the early 80's. It was a pretty radical campus and I was much more extreme myself back in the day.

It was at URI that this took place. It was pretty boring there; the biggest thing that ever happened was a cafeteria food fight.

Ok, I just read your response... What were you hoping I'd respond about? My definition doesn't differ very much from yours. ... It's just that, by that definition, this forum doesn't appear to include any extremists. ...

Well, maybe one or two.

In my opinion, this left vs. right temper tantrum has become rather moot... We have bigger problems to worry about... Like how we'll feed 7-10 billion people in the next 10 years.

So anyone still whining about Palin or Obama, or Pelosi or Cheney without ever acknowledging energy and the imploding global markets is really wasting their breath and missing the bigger picture.

Maybe you're right PC, but not many people are talking about these issues you refer to. Now maybe the media and our elected officials just don't want to create hysteria, that would make sense. But the only people I've ever heard this from are on this forum.

I've brought it up with others and they think I'm crazy. So maybe that's why people are still whining about issue that pale in comparison if what you say is all true.
