Other than "your guy won", I can't imagine what you're celebrating. obama has been an unmitigated disaster so far. Anyone happy with this has to be as brain dead as any Republicans who enjoyed W's second term.

WRONG. Whether the speech is good or not, the networks lose money because they don't show commercials.

I think this is coming to light only because Bush rarely saw the need to personally address America. That Obama does is a shock to the networks finances.

Dear Tanked as you must know i would normally respond to what you posted with a mocking, taunting, belitteling retort, but not this time. As one azzhole to another i'm going to explain to you and the other 15-20 regular members of this forum why i post what i do. Up until about a year ago i got along with just about everyone from Qui-Gon to Patters, but then the Presidential race started to heat up. I hadn't made up my mind who i was going to vote for but i noticed i was getting into more heated arguments with people over the Iraq war and the candidates. I could post something backed with facts from an independent source only to be called a moron, idiot, lefty liberal etc. It really didn't matter if what i posted was a cogent argument i would get trashed, hit with a neg.rep or just blownoff. So i decided what did it matter, like ICY said there are mayby 15-20 people that are regulars here.
It has continued this way PFiV, Darryl, Wildo, and PC would write fact fill articulate posts only to be dismissed or insulted for their effort. In fact they still do to this day i.e. try to convince people that are going to just insult or dismiss them, why i don't know. Its not like there is anyone reading this, the guests aren't. Check "whos on line" the guests are here to read football. So taking the "High Road" isn't going to impress anybody. These guys are even polite when they insult someone, not me, screw that. Why should i put time and effort into researching something only to have it thrown in my face and be called and idiot. (I have to say if its BF, 13, PINY, FOG etc. i do make an initial effort but after that the hell with it) So i guess thats where it stands, and thats why i post things like "only 7.5 years to go" in response to Obama bashing because ther is no point in trying to post a cogent argument, ive gone down to my opponents level but don't use childish insults like moron, idiot or azzhole. Fight fire with fire.

What do you get out of Obama in the first 6 months AFTER selectig him as your 'leader'? Let see.....

1- "We are out of money, now" remark.
2- After threatening everybody about the consequence for failing to act with 1T dollars, we see more lost jobs, failed banks, bankrupted companies, and high unemployment rate.
3- Doubling the country debt.
4- Planing to tax people for Obama UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE and wasteful spending.
5- Why did you give a company billion dollars to see it bankrupted in the end?

If these reasons are not good to call you MORON, i don't know what they are. It shows what you really know about Obama.
