We can't blame George W. Bush now

The military-industrial complex economy is doing great. The economy most folks have to deal with is still in the tank. The Afghanistan military action is costing more than Iraq, which to date has been the most expensive, per day, military endeavor.

Barack Obama is at the helm. No more George W. Bush to blame. I am still waiting for the return on my vote, and I am losing confidence every time I hear about the doors still being open at Gitmo, the troop increases in Afghanistan, still over 100,000 troops in Iraq, increasing military budgets and the list keeps growing.

Yes, Obama is charismatic and speaks well, but we the people are still loosing our grip.

They can't blame Bush, BUT THEY WILL.

Closing Gitmo:
Spain, Germany, Canada etc, all blubber about "Terrible Gitmo" then when asked if they will accept some of the prisoners when they are released they all say "NO" they say they are concerned with their country's Safety--

I thought these prisoners were all "poor little peaceful victims" of the Horrible Bush America, they are "Muslim Angels" why should Canada/Spain be concerned for their country's security?

GITMO IS ONE OF THE FINEST WELL RUN PRISONS IN THE WORLD.
THE ONE AND ONLY REASON THE DEMOCRATS, COUNTRY'S THAT HATE US AND THE REST OF THE LEFT WING LOONS WANT IT CLOSED IS BECAUSE THE HATED BUSH OPENED IT.

Dear President Barry Obama:
Close Gitmo as you said you would, transfer the prisoners to the Super Max's in Colorado, show the bastards what a Real Prison is, they now live in a Bush Country Club.
Yours Truly
Harry Boy

PS, say hi to Michelle tell her I love her arms.

The only people that will be upset that Gitmo isn't closing will be Jeanne Garafool & Phil Donahue, nobody else cares it was Bush they were really after, not Gitmo.

You see, Obama inherited Bush's problem but Bush was never supposed to say--in light of 9/11--that he had inherited Clinton's problem.

Got it?

Laura had to go down to Wal Mart and buy some knives and forks and the Oval Office had to be Fumigated.

Yeah, remember the World Trade Towers were bombed first in 1993? There were many other attacks against us and our interests, in Africa, Saudi Arabia, our destroyer _USS Cole_ in the Gulf of Aden.

During the Clinton Administration we had Osama bin Laden in the crosshairs dozens of times. Read Lawrence Wright's The Looming Tower. It admits this, though Wright certainly is no Republican.

Our response? To treat it like a law enforcement problem. Send a bevy of cruise missiles and ignore the problem. Esp. useful was to do it on an aspirin factory in Kenya and an Al Qaeda base in Afghanistan on the day the girl with the stained dress was testifying.

You know, what Democrats accused Republicans of, "wagging the dog." Hollywood even made a movie about it.

Why do I have to connect the dots for you, PressCoverage? Were you in high school in the 1990s and weren't paying attention to the news, or something?

They never want to talk about "WTC 1993" they would rather discuss the day President Bush fell off his bike.

Harry Boy, I think liberals are pretty much done with blaming Bush. Yeah, if you ask who is responsible for the recession or who started the Iraq War, we'll talk about Bush, but unlike Republicans who blamed Clinton for 9/11 and Carter(!) and Clinton for economic troubles, Democrats aren't like that. We tend to be overall more foreward look than Republicans.
