Default I have a request

Can everyone please stop the name calling, and act a little more civilized. It's ok to have a heated, or spirited debate, but making it personal is immature. We all lose our cool sometimes, or have cranky days, but try to keep it as civil as possible.

BTW, GFY's. J/k!

I agree we have lost some civility on this board.. but in any situation it takes more than one person for a conflict.

It's just political discussion and we ALL have a right to our opinions. Some of this just get obsessive & personal for some of it. It's just not that important people!

some dogs need leashes.

I'm certainly guilty of being egged on, but its really only after pleading and begging for substance in threads. As I've stated countless times, peeps here are not going to agree, and thats really what makes the forum great in most respects.

what makes it poor is the childish banter, and pointess threads. (aside from Harry, who I believe is like the 'strange uncle' who was let out of the mental ward for good behavior, only to find out that it was all an act during one of the darkest thanksgiving dinners, this forum being the dinner .... and I mean that in the dearest of terms, he knows this)

I KNOW my perspective, and can debate things with like minded individuals if I was whiplash from agreement. I come here to be informed on how the other half lives, breathes and thinks. I've gained a ton of perspective, from some I agree with and those I've went toe to to with RW, Harry, Belichickfan, Press, NY, Darryl, VA, Reign, 13, Michael, Patters....the list goes on.....

I'm guilty of being driven to name call by some..... my bad.

I'll curb it towards certain individuals. Others who know my steez, and can deal with a jab or two, knowing its all in good fun and to gain an understanding....we will still spar.

the moderators lost control of this forum a long time ago...

when nothing is ever done about it, those left absorbing petty insults feel they have a free pass to fire back... vicious cycle.

I can vaguely see why people aren't banned, but I don't know why certain posts aren't just deleted or more locks placed on threads.
