Where is the will of people in states that allows gay marriage?

With yesterday victory, I hope that these people will follow the footstep of Californians to protect our traditional marriage .

We need to send a strong signal to Federal judges about respecting the will of people.

Yes, we can do it.

Here it hasn't been allowed to come up for a vote, the sessions usually end before the bills are due to come up forcing them to refile the bill and then get mired in committee then put late on the calender for vote then finally the sessions end before action is taken conveniently killing the bill. Repeated again and again five times over with the sixth coming in July...

Can't get to the will of the people due to the politics of Beacon Hill...then again they don't even acknowledge the will of the people on anything anyway.

Judges are not about respecting the will of the people the legislature and executive branch do that.. the Judiciary interprets the law in light of the constitution and law.

57% of AMERICANS OPPOSE IT.

Til that changes, not a whole lot of progress is gonna be made on the subject. When put to the will of the people (including blacks, Mormons, and whoever else) this issue is not very close yet........ Feel from to blame whatever group you want, but the bottom line, most people arn't ready yet for this. Read the poll though, its interesting in that when asked the question "Should gays and lesbians be afforded equal protection as straights couples" the result switch almost exactly with 56% in support.
That is not my point, what I said is that 40% of the money opposing this was from Mormons... that is all. The other side was poorly prepared..
