Obama's lawyers make like $300-$600 an hour fighting that issue. Yet yesterday he says this.
Quote:
“I will never hide the truth because it is uncomfortable,”
I will tell the American people what I know and don't know, and when I release something publicly or keep something secret,
I will tell you why.”

You can't be right when you are so wrong many times.
I'm not going to argue the economic model being used to address the current economic crisis. As I understand it, it's sound. It's size is relative to the problem. Roosevelt faced a huge depression, and spent a record percent of our GDP to end the Great Depression. Reagan faced a moderate recession, and spent what was then a record dollar amount to end that Recession. Obama is faced with an extremely serious recession, and is spending a new record, but again it's relative to the size of the problem. Is this approach sound? Certainly, people wiser than me think it is, and the fundamental logic of it makes sense. Money is greases the gears of capitalism. Only the government has the money to get those gears turning again, and in doing so is helping to prevent even higher unemployment and greater social problems. Will it be disastrous in the long term? That remains to be seen. I for one think that the Democrats to address the concerns of Republicans should make the income tax far more progressive is order to collect more money to fund the various initiatives.

All I have to say is that is Obama needs to spend all this money then apparently Bush did not spend enough.
Yet ... everyone complains that Bush way overspent ... go figure.

If paying people to do public works projects worked, then all the government would have to do would be to pay everyone to work for the government. That would work, right? I mean, if repairing bridges and doing upkeep improves the economy, just start paying people to dig holes, and fill them back in. Economy problem solved.
WWII forced spending in other areas. It wasn't Roosevelt's New Deal that got us out of the Depression. In fact, I'll try to find it, but I saw something that showed that the New Deal actually worsened the situation of Americans.

FDR didn't solve the Great Depression, unemployment was 19% in 1939. Is this success for a lib??
HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!, I think Obama will be as successful as FDR and J Carter were.
WW2 ended the great depression. Obama will cause a bad situation to become much worse.
CA, NY, NJ are places where dems have had their way, all are basket cases Obama pelosi and Reid will do the same for the entire country.
