Let's get the "all seeing eye" off our currency - New England Patriots Forums

For those who are tired of conspiracy theories and secret organization stories, ask yourself why we still have the "all seeing eye" stamped upon our currency.

We're not living in the 1800's anymore, so why do we allow myths of the Free Masons and the Illuminati continue to thrive by having this on our currency? Who gives a rat's behind about either one of these groups?

I mean secret societies who place themselves in the role of "those to whom the torch has been passed"....please spare us from this ridiculousness.

I was paying attention, you just didn't list any valid reasons to get rid of something that we've had for a long long time. Other than the fact that you don't like it, that is. Basically, what I read was a useless ramble.

is useless ramble at all. What use do you believe America has for symbols that represent groups like the Masons or the Illuminati?...or any "secret society"? Any association between secret societies and or government go against everything a supposedly open society stands for. We are not supposed to have any "clubs" running our government.

If you care to contribute, try using some valid points rather than just insulting. I do a lot of things, but I do not ramble.

So you're point is that we should keep the symbol because we've had it "for a long time". Gee, is that so? We also had slavery for a long time.
