Why was that even a topic for questioning at a Miss US paegent? Seriously though, that's an ridiculously controversial, and politically polarizing question to ask a politician, nevermind a beauty contestant. To me, it looks like the people in charge were trying to create some publicity for their cause, in primetime, and it backfired. Too bad for that ultra sultry POA, cuz it might have cost her the title. Principles aren't for sale, and I commend her for answering honestly.
