It was a set-up, pure and simple. This Perez guy (?) knew she attends a Christian college -- he probably had even gotten looks at her courses taken -- and he knew she'd have a hard time dealing with such a personal and emotionally loaded question which he knows triggers a lot of hot buttons in the general population. Hilton was setting her up to look foolish, and he succeeded. His bad for setting her up, and her bad for not being better prepared; rest assured that people WILL be better prepared for such witch-hunt set-ups from now on. Notice has been served, and duly recorded. Let's get it on.
(a) Can you prove he knew where she stood on the issue, and that he intended the question specifically for her?
(b) He probably had even gotten looks at her courses taken?
(c) Regardless, this still doesn't anwer too the fact that she did not answer the question.
