Two problems here, neither of which, I fear, would be solved by your acquisition of a GED. First of all, I was addressing several posters, some of whom did say it was fun. BING! Reality!

Secondly, I addressed not whether some bad deeds were accomplished by some of the Gitmo detainees, or people they knew; I addressed the efficacy and morality of torture.

Again, whether you have a problem with it is partly dependent on your ability to synthesize information, partly dependent on your capacity for separating various categories of unconvicted and untried "combatants," and partly on your preference for exactly the form of justice (usually described with the simple prefix in) and savagery you purport to abhor when it is levelled against American victims and journalists.

sadism and masochism actually is something that is portrayed to the tortured as an element in the psychological portion of the torture......in fact, those doing the torturing are supposed to act like they are enjoying it......but I am sure you knew that and were just hiding it from me

As I said, I am not a professional torturer (nor any other kind,) and have never purported to be one. I'm acting like I know exactly as much as you do about the subject, although that's giving you a lot of credit in a specific instance by pure benefit of the doubt.

Now then, I assume you claim you do know quite a bit on the topic of torture, first-hand. If you are in fact a torturer yourself, whether professional or casual, is there no pleasure in it for you? If not, why are you a casual torturer? If you are in fact a professional torturer, how did you choose your line of work?

Or, if you have no first-hand information, what do your sources tell you is the way you can tell whether sadism is feigned, from an objective standpoint?

personally, I would prefer that the organization who perpetrated 9/11 would continue to think that this kind of crap will happen to them if we get our hands on them.......I believe it is a fairly effective deterrent
