Default Holy meltdowns, Batman!! The axe is falling AGAIN!!!

.
When, if ever, will it end??? You couldn't write a better script than this:

Cost-cutting at NY Times, reorganization at WPost

Apr 16 04:05 PM US/Eastern

The New York Times unveiled plans on Thursday to eliminate several weekly sections of the newspaper in the latest cost-cutting move at the prestigious but financially troubled daily.

The Washington Post, meanwhile, announced a sweeping editorial reorganization at the newspaper and details of its plan to merge its currently separate print and online operations into a single newsroom.

The Times said it was doing away with several weekly sections "in a bid to save millions of dollars" in ink, paper and freelance reporter costs, absorbing them into other parts of the newspaper.

Oh, well. At least FOX isn't going out of business!!!

I love this so much!!! ................................ .

Newpapers are done. You may not like it. I may not like it. But with all the news on TV and the internet, newspapers are irrelevant now. Much like non digital cameras. They had their time, no point lamenting their doom. It is what it is.

I don't think anyone disagrees with this. The advent of the internet and the poor economy obviously don't mean good things for print media.

What's typically stupid of Fog's nonsense is that to him this is all some kind of backlash against the liberal slant by the public right after Obama gets elected. Talk about inventing your own reality. But that's what Fog does, he lives in the world inside his head.

Perhaps this is why B Cardin D/MD wants a bailout for their friends in the MSM...
