So why do I keep hearing that temps have been in decline the past 10-15 years??? If temps aren't the problem -- hence, the makeover from "global warming" to "climate change" vernacular -- then the only other problemo is the CO2 ..... well, that and the cow fart methane.

OK, step one: introduce a new form of Hinduism where eating all those cows they got over there would be a good thing.

I still say MORE TREES would be a capital idea!!! (Whoops!! Am I still allowed to use that word around here????)

Is it my imagination or are you getting obsessed posting anything you can that's about Palin? Sheesh, if she didn't speak about climate change you were all set to make sure we all were updated on some relevant, earth shattering news there must have been about what her family was saying about her. I know I speak for most everyone here that that is what most of us just can’t get enough of.

Anyway, aside from the digs about what the base may say, do you think what she said was good or bad?

Personally have a deep affinity for Alaska, when I was there the changes were obvious.. if it is man made something needs to change.. not sure if we are the complete problem, but we as a society do not make things better.

Not at all, what I said is that CO2 is contributing about as much as it can to the greenhouse effect, currently a doubling of atmospheric CO2 would produce onaly a small change in temp we are talking ~.1 degree C
