Someday America may need a "revolution" to prevent it from becoming a "Third World Dictatorship" the thought of millions of Americans with a Gun under their pillow scares the ***** out of the Far Left Wing Bastard, that gun means the people will Fight Back.

PR this isn't the first time you've expressed this, iirc? You're perfect for the job btw.

Anyway,I'm not going to look for the link now because the incident happened several months ago, but the premise expressed in this thread brings the story to mind.

An older couple living in a quiet, residential neighborhood had some early-stage tomato plants happily growing on their kitchen window sill.

A "concerned citizen" (sarc intended) who'd decided to do God and His Country A Service, spotted these little leafy plants growing on the woman's sill and called the police, as in his uninformed, narcissistic but EVER well- intentioned mind the little couple MUST be growing marijuana.

Being a small town, the local law enforcement notified the DEA who Ninja-ed themselves up and proceeded to raid the house in the wee hours of the morning,as they seem to be wont to do.

The poor woman was obviously upset by the mayhem but actually began to laugh as she informed the militia that those were her tomato plants. Sure enough, after checking the plants thoroughly and ransacking the house, it was found to be true.

5 little tomato plants.

The couple eventually transplanted the tomato plants into their garden when it was time. As soon as some began to ripen, the woman and her husband brought a basket over to the "good citizen" neighbor and another big basket to their local police station,ALL grown from those very same plants that had ripened on their window sill.

EDIT: Yummmmm this tea is delicious!!! LOL

Thank you LND! I agree. I'm not a fan of toothless rednecks with whiskey breath shooting guns.

The poor wording of your original post is what caused the "misunderstandings" in this thread.

You never used the word "violence" - - - only "extremism".

Everyone seems to be pretty much in agreement that violence against the democratically elected government is not OK, but that we are all free to believe and protest for whatever we choose.

No you didn't in your original post:

"With all the news about extremist groups from the right and the left building in America, I would hope all of us would report anything we know about such groups to law enforcement. We should ask all our friends and family to keep their eyes and ears open and also report anything they might know as well.

The only way this nation can survive is if it stays in the middle of mainstream Americans. Extremists are cowards."
__________

I'm sure you didn't mean it that way, but those words sounded a bit Michele Bachmann-esque.

I agree, I was mislead by the inital wording as well. I thought you were a snitch PR!

If I know a guy next door who is making bombs in his basement to blow up a federal building, I call the cops. If he hangs up a Che Guevara banner and constantly talks to me about the plight of the working man and the saving graces of socialism or communism, more power to him. Wildo's also right to point out the extremism is all relative.

I think PR meant well, he just had a "failure to communicate" in the original post.

.......and the subsequent thread took off from there!
