Well this should be interesting, the plan appears to be to break GM into 2 pieces, the Good GM and the bad GM. The Good GM would be bought out and could become a viable concern (Buick ie is the most popular import in the PRC) the bad GM (dogs like Saturn & the pension medical retirement system) would be liquidated.
My bet Uncle Sam will cover the cost of the UAW/GM pension medical benefits. This will be the payoff from the Dems to the UAW IMO.
If this doesn't happen feel free to remind me of this prediction. If I am right it will demonstrate the corruption of the dems with our tax $$. Why should I fund the UAW benefits?
"Some guys play in all-star games, some guys don't. I don't know who picks all those all-star teams. In all honesty, I don't know who picks the combine, for that matter," Belichick said. "How does (Miami-Ohio offensive lineman Brandon) Brooks not get invited to the combine? How did Vollmer not get invited to the combine? I don't know. We can't really worry about that. We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."

Re: Treasury Directs GM to Get Ready for Bankruptcy
But, as I just saw on CNN, "....they will be re-organized, and substantially trimmed down. They won't be the big GM that we've always known, but they were too big anyway. They'll come back in a much trimmer, fitter organization, much like Honda or Hyundai." (!!!!)
Ooooo, that hurts..... the freeloaders.
