WASHINGTON, April 9 (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama declined to answer reporters' questions on Thursday on a hostage crisis off the coast of Somalia, where a U.S. ship captain is being held captive by pirates.

Obama was asked to comment on the situation several times by reporters at a White House event on refinancing for homeowners. Obama, however, stuck closely to the script and replied that he wanted to remain focused on housing.

What do you want him to do invade Somalia like Bush 1 did? That turned out really well especially for the RT. They got to blame Clinton for what happened. They floated the "Big Lie" so often i forgot it WAS.. Bush 1 that originally went into Somalia.

Michelle McVee the shrew who works 96.9's air in the early evenings was furious that the Navy didn't send a Blackhawk to the area immediately. I can just see this Blackhawk hovering over the pirate compound:

Pilot: "WHAT DO YOU WANT TO RELEASE THE HOSTAGE?" Yelling over the noise from the rotor.

Pirate Scumbag: "WHAT?"

Of course the first thing the Navy would have to do is go buy a Blackhawk. Technically the one used to run Obama around is controlled by the Navy since the Marines are a department of the Navy, but you have to figure that one's off limits.
