Heh, thanks for the warning. I don't expect to get into much of any political debate here. Sometimes it's good, but it usaully turns into people hurling labels at each other. I assume it's the same in this forum.
The interesting thing is that the entire reason pot is illegal was about money. Two robber barons, one into paper, the other rope, started a smear campaign against weed back in the early part of the 1900's because they didn't want to compete with hemp. Ironically, the need for more revenue may be the root cause of pot's legalization.
If you read the whole article I posted, the US AG has lifted the restriction disallowing states to prescribe medical marijuana. It's the very first step. |

Economic relief for CA?
They've already taken over a lot of the (illegal) harvesting. One young couple from the Carolinas drives out there every season to earn $15-20,000 as pickers but last season when they arrived they got nothing, as our borderbuddies had pretty much taken over. So, if II's are going to corner that particular job market then it's not going to help in quite the same way most Americans would envision it would
