Looking back,SEn. Dodds promise to hand over his Countrywide docs, and the
still unredacted TARPs have remained status quo the longest.

Huge suprise that Dodd hasn't handed over the documents from his illegal loans.
However, on to the main topic. Illegal immigrants are a huge drain on our economy, and I can't believe more people are jumping on this. Not only will they get a large % of the new jobs created(if they in fact ever appear), but illegals hurt us big time on the other end, where they take resources like healthcare and government aid and never pay for it. A community hospital cannot refuse someone if they show up at the ER. So many people complain about the cost of healthcare, yet they don't consider one of the root causes. When you pay your bill, you are paying for yourself, plus the illegal who was provided medical treatment and then could not pay. Thats built right into your bill.
Oh, and a classic argument of those who are pro illegal immigration is that they do the jobs Americans won't. That is no longer the case. People can't find work, and are willing to go to extreme measures to find some. Over the weekend I read a report on last years graduating MBA class. They did polls and studies, and found several working as secretaries, trash pickup people, and cashiers at supermarkets. Why were they there? There was nothing else.
Kicking out illegals and shoring up the border would be a nice start to helping out our current poor economy.
