This is what I don't understand. Obama is making a big fuss about TRANSPARENCY.

So why is he hiring high-powered lawyers to concel his Occidental College record?

This issue is actually a good one for the Democrats and Obama is wise to drag it out. It's a case of the white party questionning the citizenship of a black man, demanding that his proof of citizenship (which includes an official, well-vetted copy of his birth certificate, confirmation of the authenticity of that certificate from the Hawaii record department, and a birth announcement in a Honolulu newpaper) be at a higher standard than anyone else. This issue will further alienate blacks and Latinos from the Republican Party. The only proof of being a natural born citizen is one's birth certificate. Obama has produced an official copy. End of of story.

Good point, this along with the "Barack the magic negro" only alienates minority folks more and more from the Republilcans...
