I know what Coulter is, she stumbled onto a way to "make money" and she is very good at it, she says many, many things I don't agree with but she also says many, many things that nobody else would dare to say and very often she is right on the money, that is what infuriates the left wing they can't stand having their dirty laundry out in public and they can't stand anybody that dares to "talk back".
Coulter has the same freedoms that Sean Penn, Al Franken, Hillary and Jessie Jackoff have, like her or not she is part of Free America even though the left wing college scum throw pies at her.
Coulter happened to have a book out at the same time Pant Suit Hillary was pushing her crap
(It Takes A Village) Coulter sold more books in one week than Pant Suit did in five years, thats not me talking, thats a fact.
Again, the Left Has Tried To Compete, nobody listens to them, I admit I can't understand it, the crazy American public make a billionaire out of a Right Wing Neo Con like Coulter
Aside from the inuendo that she should be silenced, from my view she should continue what she is doing as all she is doing is making the Right look stupid.. I am all for that..
Left wing does not throw pies at her, one college student did.. that would as stupid as saying the right advocates Racism.. even though Coulter does.
Other than that I agree with most of what is captioned. The left has done a crappy job, and should do better than they currently are.. Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter and the rest of the crew should be admired for what they have accomplished..
“We like to say that dependability is more important than ability,” Bill Belichickism....

I think the media voices of the Right, such as they are, are shaping up as the heart of the "opposition." They'll glorify themselves in that role indefinitely, and more rational voices on the right will continue to try to paint the Democrats' recent victory in the elected branches of government as the cause of America's problems; but America will remember where we were at the outset of this administration, just as we remembered the reality of the great push on the part of the Bushies to rush to war against a non-threat.
So we'll end up with the fringe right like Coulter and Limbaugh representing the GOP, and their pols will chase their spokespeople to the right.
And the problem with the radio whore model of leadership, is that they are natural pugilists. They think that as long as they believe one another, and as long as they believe they have cogent arguments, they are above criticism.
This is just what sank the GOP in the last election.
Then what happened? The RNC started passing around the "Magic Negro" CD (as first heard, don't forget, on Rush). Initially they assaulted those offended by the news with condescending speeches about how nobody except them understood satire.
Then, "magically," the best candidate to lead the RNC is suddenly Michael Steele. Problem solved!
Nope. Coulter is reading from the same script, and getting the same results. We all know what she is. Now she's busted. And the hard core right wants to discuss what? Robert Byrd's history, as I understand it.
Okay, that's been out there a while. I don't need to discuss it in relation to Anne Coulter. He's a long way removed from the KKK, and Coulter's a link away. More to the point, it doesn't somehow exonerate Coulter. It just picks a scab regarding Byrd. I don't care right now. I care about Coulter, because that's who we're talking about.
So we've got the traditional 3-step Waltz the right always goes through:
1. Nut uh I have a fancy argument that makes it all okay even though nobody believes it except other right-wingers;
2. A Democrat did it worse; and finally,
3. This is all a conspiracy to silence the downtrodden right wing.
It's not censorship for people to note Coulter's effed up politics and the bedfellows it makes for her. She's free to continue to be a very public dum dum.
We all see it, and we can discuss it, and we can vote accordingly.
Coulter and Rush (and the "base" they represent) have gotten to the point that they are a liability, long-term. The trouble is that short-term, they are the bulk of their party.
That is indeed a conundrum. We'll know a lot more about the GOP by 2010. The part of me that likes to follow politics like sports looks forward to that election, just to see whether the GOP needs another dose of reality before ditching their more ahem racially provocative elements.
