It's time for a revolution. Is anybody still angry or have we all become desensitized? We could have paid off almost everybody's mortgages with this money, but instead it's going to bail out a bunch of con and scam artists.

Every single US citizen is now on the hook for over 30K in debt that you, your kids and grand kids will be paying.

I'm not desensitized but I've thrown my arms up. I have no interest in my tax money paying off other people's mortgages, end of story.

Well since our lawmakers are authorizing nearly 10 TRILLION of money that ultimately must be paid by citizens, I'd much rather have it go back to the people than a small group of lying crooks.

I'd prefer it to not be used at all and let the financial system reset. If my stocks go to zero because of that, so be it. Unless we change it to "Life, Liberty, Pursuit of Happiness and a Free House".

But we don't have that choice. We are being FORCED to spend 10 trillion. Given the fact that we MUST spend this money, decided by our lawmakers, how would you rather spend the money?

If I had $10T that had to be spent ? I'd buy 10 years of our best engineers to get us off of oil forever. Starting with the massive amount of natural gas we're sitting on.

Regarding your two choices - I would not spend the money on either.

I would agree with that. I hate either option. BUT, if we had to spend 10 Trillion and demolish our currency and put future citizens on the hook for massive obligations, I would spend it all on research, science/technology, and energy... instead of the black hole we just put it in and where nobody will benefit from.
