His followers (groupies) have elevated our new leader to the point of calling him "messiah/prince/king" just as many Americans called our previous president "chimp/idiot/moron" it's what we Americans do, we elect a leader than we immediately start calling them names and demanding that they keep their promises that they have been preaching and yelling about since the very first day they started looking for our vote.

The "Obama Groupies" created that stuff with all their fawning, gushing, slobbering bull***** over a Chicago Politician who's claim to greatness is his appearance and he talks pretty.

When an American newsman goes on public television, looks into the camera and says to the Whole World "when I hear Barack Hussein Obama speak my legs tingle" then I believe it is time to start calling the speaker that makes legs tingle "Messiah/Prince/King"

I think that Prince Messiah Barack Hussein Obama has bitten off a lot more than he can chew, Barack didn't come down to us from Heaven he came to us from that "Crooked Political ***** Hole" Chicago Illinois where dead people rise from their graves and vote "for the democrat".

Looks like it's going to be a long four years for you then (maybe longer), only two weeks into the administration. I was no Bush fan, but at least I cut him some slack for three years or so until he proved his incompetence and lack of leadership ability beyond a shadow of reasonable doubt.

By the way, Obama's "I won," comment was not off the cuff, but a calculated quip to the Repubs in the first days of his presidency that he is now in charge and would not be pushed around.

So, where does the partisanship end and the cooperation for the greater good of the country begin? It's like two armies fighting each other at the base of a mountain and ignoring the volcano about to blow above.

We get that you abhor the Obama "cult of personality" syndrome. Most mature adults feel likewise, no need to hammer it into the ground. I don't like the "messiah" stuff either, and find myself sometimes reminding people that he's a politician, not a spiritual guru. But I don't believe that Obama himself buys into the hype, and I think the man deserves support as our PRESIDENT in a time of economic crisis. We've got to give him a chance to succeed or fail on his own terms.
