How is this woman involved with this new administration? Change my arse. Seriously, though, **** the pissed off witches that love this woman. She's a douchebag, period. She needs to go away ASAP. I swear, the more I hear this "change" BS, but see all the same faces on the job, all pulling hair for power, the more I cringe. This country truly needs to start over I think.

The country is changing in ways that are making your views anachronistic. Soon, we'll have improved social programs, higher taxes on the wealthy, bigger government, a pragmatic policy regarding illegal immigrants, an emphasis on diplomacy even with our enemies, equal rights for minorities, and so on. No wonder you're unhappy. Both Bush and Obama learned from the experience of the Clinton administration. In 1992, Bill Clinton brought in a team of true outsiders, but they did not know how to deal with Congress and had very little domestic success in their first few years. Having someone like Hillary jumpstarts our foreign policy, since she and her husband are known entities and popular throughout the world, and she is held in high esteem by both Republican and Democratic Senators.

Higher taxes on the wealthy ... hmmm.
Who has been hurt the most by the stock market problems ... hmmm the wealthy.
and how is our economy doing?
You would think you tax the wealthy people more people would get it by now.
The wealthy invest ... the investments lead to businesses which leads to jobs.

That's a b.s. theory, I think. Both Bush and Reagan promoted investment by deficit spending. Their deficit spending was vastly larger than their tax cuts, and it led to increased government investment that led to increases in the stock market. (And, ultimately, it's the stock market thanks to deregulation that brought about our current economic crisis.)
The fact is that the wealthy, especially the very wealthy, often invest globally, in land, in gold, and in other securities that have nothing to do with job creation in the U.S. Taxes need to be driven by the market. If we raise taxes to the point where it affects the market and the economy, then it's time to lower them. But, the fact is, high taxes or low taxes, our country has done well.
Under Clinton, we saw both tax increases and reduced federal spending, and we had perhaps the best economy. Under Roosevelt, we saw massive deficit spending and increased taxes and had a great economy (thanks to WWII, which pushed deficit spending up to record levels).

Ahh, the politics of class envy, just the change we need.
