Sort of interesting article about the problems in Afghanistan and the challenges Biden faces as VP. If Reagan hadn't interfered, I wonder if the Soviets would have gained control over the country. If Reagan had left it alone, I wonder if the Taliban would have ever connected with Al Qaeda. At the time Reagan interfered, I was rooting for the Soviets. Now I'm rooting for the Americans. There's an entrenched right-wing in Afghanistan that engages in vastly more oppression than just about any other group in the world.
