Default Obama approval rating at 67% according to the Wall Street Journal..

Rupert must be gaggin on his oatmeal this am, his paper commisioned a poll and the results came out something pretty high..

Poll Shows Obama Gains Support - WSJ.com

Quote:
WASHINGTON -- President-elect Barack Obama is entering the White House with an enormous reservoir of goodwill from an American public that is rooting for his success in the face of bad economic times, a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll finds.

The mood presents opportunities as well as perils for Mr. Obama, who confronts a series of challenges amid expectations he will handle them well.

Inflation Fears Remain HighOverall, a majority of Americans are confident in Mr. Obama's ability to govern and unify the country, with many who didn't vote for him now seeing him in a positive light. The poll found that 73% of adults approve of the way he is handling the transition and his preparations for becoming president.

Only 67%?

Even more impressive is that 73% approve of the way he is handling the transition.

That means that folks who don't even like him grudgingly are impressed by his ACTIONS.

Obviously, those numbers won't hold up as the years pass, but at least so far so good. One step at a time.

I think even if you don't agree with is policies he's been discussing, you have to be impressed by the way he's calmed Wall Street. So far, the country is showing amazing support of Obama 40 days before he even takes office....pretty cool.

Much more.

But Obama is a mature adult and intends to INVEST it. Bush the Boy declared he would "spend it".

Right there, in summation, is the huge difference between the two.
