Illinois Gov. Blagojevich arrested by FBI - Politics- msnbc.com

Anybody living here in Chicago knew this was coming. In other news, Durbin seeks pardon for Ryan who is in fed. pen.

Yeah, I saw that............... One of my chief worries about Obama (believe it of not) was that he comes from the Chicago Political Machine. What a cesspool.

Not claiming that he would be dirty, but no doubt that is an UGLY system there.

What a coincidence that I just posted a thread that talked about how he is threatening the Bank of America for pulling financing on a failing Illinois company:

Man, this is crazy. I came to work this morning and no one is talking or too surprised about this whole thing so I guess it's...Welcome to Chicago.

To be fair Chicago is one of the most beautiful cities in the country under Mayer Daley.
This guy will never lose an election, though.

I think everybody saw it coming, only what would they get him on. Kind of surprising that it was for the Senate seat, since they have been after this guy for quite a while. Happened after the papers went to press. The front page news was the Tribune filing for bankruptcy.
Look for Fitzgerald to be in the news again, big time.

For sure......... It's a great place. Been there many times. I'm talking about the political machine. It's been fukced since the 20s-30s, and not likely to change anytime soon.
