Default Obama on 60 Minutes Tonight

Wondering who watched the show ... pretty much a softball Q & A as expected. but, one thing I liked was when he said one of the 2.

1 - I'm not going to answer that.

2 - That's all you're going to get out of me.

hate when politicians just flat out lie or give a different answer to a question ...
just say what it is and move on ... I like that ... very Belichickian of Obama.

Also ... 'keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Obama all but admitted that's what is
going on with Clinton ... gotta love it. It's what Bush promised and failed to deliver ... will be interesting.

So what job will Sarah Palin get?

Palin is not someone who can cause problems for the Obama administration. Clinton could.

Honestly, I just sat there marveling how our President elect is so well spoken. That's not a knock on any culture, but on the last person in that office. I'm sure that crossed the minds of many people across the country.

Interesting how short this thread is, after a long interview with the man himself. Yeah I liked it too. He seems uncommonly centered, and his family looks solid. This last isn't important to me, but it is refreshing. Typically Democrats get in trouble because they get laid, and Republicans get in trouble for destroying the economy and invading foreign nations. Well, he inherits an economy that comes pre-destroyed, and a military that comes pre-deployed. Knock wood, he can hardly do worse on those fronts. Nice to think he might be able to make it through eight years in Washington without the Drudges of the world salivating about an affair.

I really liked his centeredness, and how focused he was on Michelle and the kids.. it is refreshing to hear him talk, his intelligence it obvious and he is not a knee jerk reactionist.. or someone who will say stuff just because you are supposed to say it to appeal to a demographic. I am having more confidence in him daily.

Best part?

When he said he wanted to wipe away the BCS and move to a playoff system!!!!

he said he would throw his weight around on that issue. NICE!

I was impressed with him. At least he said the right things. He seemed genuine and more concerned about what is right for the country rather than what was right for any particular political party. I'm hopeful and apprehensive all at the same time though.

Don’t let us down Barack.
