This montage of CNBC and Fox interviews with Peter Shiff is so utterly satisfying on a number of different levels... Including both the "fair and balanced" network, AND the exposed mentality of smug, "everything-is-fine, nothing-to-see-here" unbridled capitalist pundits... It just goes on and on, and gets better and better towards the end...

Satisfying, that is, if not so ultimately depressing...

Didn't watch the video since it must be about Chris Dodd and Barney Frank telling us how everything is "working as planned" with their Community Reinvestment Act scheme to force banks, under penalty of $100 million fines, to give mortgages to people who had no credit, no work history, and no means to pay back those mortgages. "Social engineering" at its... abysmal worst.

Jimmy Cahter, Billy "First Black President" Clinton, singing praises to their "enlightened" plan to give away hundreds of billions to people who hadn't the first clue on how to pay it back, through the utterly failed CRA???

That's the truth and the ONLY TRUTH about this financial meltdown. The beginning and the end of it. Period. Anything else is shuck and jive smoke and mirrors. And people are gonna find out!! They're finding out right now, even as we speak.

The CRA is not the end-all be-all... and far from the leading cause... that was proven to you weeks ago when you went on insane rants and thread hijacks about it back then... But isn't that just like a locked in zealot to never acknowledge when your assertion has been shown to be completely illogical...

Anyhow, way to disqualify yourself right off the bat by admitting you didn't have the courage to actually watch the video in the first place... Just hit the eject button and bail out... This thread has started off as a disaster for you, and you're way over your head once again...
