Default Which you to really believe about Obama?

Now that the election is over, just curious to see if some of the rhetoric was political, not actual fear.

I don't believe him at all because he or his promises are unrealistic.

Well I crossed my fingers and pulled the lever for him so I hope he's the centrist he ran as and will stand up to the far left in the party.

I voted a socialist. While I do not think he could ever successfully get away with it in the U.S., I do believe that he will try to steer America in a socialist direction. His "spread the wealth" comments were especially illuminating as that is purely a socialist moniker. HOWEVER, with that said, America wants him and America feels as if he is the right choice. I will go along with America and give Obama the benefit of the doubt right now. I want to see improvements in the economy, however minimal, and a withdrawal of our troops in Iraq. That is when change will happen. I'll give Obama my stamp of approval (reserve the right the take the stamp away though ). I wish him well in office. If he does good, it's money in my (the working man's) pocket essentially. If he doesn't, I reserve the right to ***** and moan until no end because I voted for McCain.

I think he's friends with bad people. I think that's virtually indisputable. Whether he's unduly influenced by them is debatable. I think he's unqualified. That doesn't mean he won't be up to the job but his resume as of now makes that uncertain. And while he may want to govern from the center I think he's a liberal at heart - not a socialist but the most liberal President we'll have had in a long time which is a bad match with a liberal Congress.

What I've felt from day 1 about him. Unqualified.

The only thing America really know is "who want to be a millionaire, fear factor, bachelor, survivor, american idol" shows. Besides these wonderful reality shows, some of us don't know much.

Patters, this poll is absolutely unfair, anyone who has studied it knows that a Marxist can not be a Socialist, however the converese can be true.
