Hey kid, markets go up and down every day. We had a similar bozo here named Quigon last year who hilariously started a thread in September 2007 that trumpeted ONE MONTH'S good consumer confidence measurement.

There's way too many people in this country living and dying with the stock market every day. If you're at or near retirement and have all your money in stocks then I can see it. Otherwise just relax, get some stocks or funds at a good price and get on with your life.

That said, it's not Obama's fault but the market clearly isn't thrilled that he can get the economy turned around any time soon.

It's only 2 months or so until inauguration. They're going to want to get some stocks at a low (maybe not THE low) point real soon if they think Obama can turn things around any time soon. We're going to be digging around the 7800-9000 range for quite a while, I think.
